Breakthrough–Amazing Firearm Cleaner

A pleasant surprise!
I recently had the opportunity to try a new firearms cleaning solvent just made available to the general public. BREAKTHROUGH claims to remove all fowling from firearms.
I can tell you that it shocked me at how well it worked on an extremely fowled shotgun choke tube.
I removed a choke tube from one of my 3- gun shotguns after firing over 500 rounds through it. As I walked from my office out to my ‘Armory’ I had the nasty little choke on a terry cloth rag. I had sprayed a little of the BREAKTHROUGH on it and inside as well and casually walked the 75 feet to one of my benches. When I got there I opened up the cloth and the darn choke was almost totally clean without me even wiping it down! I pulled the cloth through the choke and twisted it a bit around the choke and in a heartbeat it was spotless. I am impressed!
I wanted to see what it would do in a 1911 barrel that I had just finished shooting 200+ lead cast bullets through. The barrel had some leading and as usual the top of the chamber had a layer of lead on it. I sprayed some BREAKTHROUGH down the barrel and then sprayed some on a nylon bore brush and ran it down the barrel about 30 times. I then ran a swab, moist with BREAKTHROUGH, down the barrel to push any gunk left out. I again was pleasantly surprised to find most of the leading removed with very little effort. I did the same procedure again and the lead was gone.
Very cool!
